A good game of hockey . We maybe deserved a draw and maybe a win but lost 1-2.
The 2's where boosted by the return of Chris F, Will and Neil and we held a solid defensive line again a lively Ashford attack. Half time 0-0. We attacked a lot more in the 2nd half and where undone by two through balls. Masaya got one back for us with a lovely chip over their keeper on about 60mins. We had a few other chances to get the equaliser from short corners expertly won by the ever green Neil Adams, but we could not put one away.
Special mentions to Tony D for some goal saving tackles and for his man of the match performance always encouraging the team. Best sportsmanship from Digga for declaring that the ball hit his foot before he scored. Overall a good team performance which we can build on and well played everyone.
